La Nuestra Senora de Montana
The day before Yellowstone officially opened, I drove from Missoula where I had attended two SandPlay workshops, to Old Faithful, only to find the lodge wasn't open to visitors. I had approached it at sunset, and was in awe of all the magnificent sites. I had to turn around, and head for the closest exit to the park. I found a motel at the East Entrance, slept a few hours, and headed back to Missoula the next morning to catch my plane. All the grandeur, the truly enormous skies, and all the vistas around every turn were worth every bit of the long drive.
